Repeat guests who were here last year in August for a funeral have returned - 2 rooms this time. But they remembered the pretzels!! I had to make pretzels tonight although I had not planned to. Nice that they thought so much of them though. (And no, I do not expect to see ANY tip tomorrow when I break down the cot for the kid and flip the rooms. It will not occur to the that I did anything extra for them.)

My bride & groom told me I was the first to greet them as Mr & Mrs. - they liked that!

Yep. They asked for a bag to put the bananas and apples from the room in for their ride on the rail-trail (did not leave anything for the Lord's Pantry either). The kids left VERY nice messages in the comment book in their room. They (parents) are talking about coming back next year.

Got everyone out his morning by 11 and had an hour to make a HUGE salad for the 225 year anniversary of the church we attend. Was so pushed for time I forgot to forward the phone. Came home to a request for a room for tonight - and I still had time to clean/flip the room. I am sending them to another WV B & B tomorrow. THEN I get a call for a room for 2 nights - but this couple who is booked in at the shared rate do not want to share so I turned it down - sent him to a nearby WVBA member. I was huffed at first, but kind of glad because I have not taken the cot down yet or done anything to flip that room. I am in install queen bed in that room mode. Not planning to have to do anything with it until we put the new bed in (higher rates here we come...)
