I just came across this post searching for another kind of french toast. Found this. It sounds good. Think I may give it a try on the weekend.

Not sure if the non coffee lovers would like it tho. Sure looks good!

I have been making these delicious pecans for butter pecan french toast. I put maple syrup, a stick of butter and pecans into a pot and boil it for a while until the butter is no longer seen. Scoop out the pecans and serve them on the side. Put the pecan maple butter syrup on the table (infused with the pecans) and serve french toast, some pecans with them and let people put on the syrup. A few people don't even try the pecans... but those who do, never leave any on their plate. What's to not love about pecans, butter and maple syrup

YUMMM- may have to try this in our new place-looks delish.

Have you priced Marscapone cheese? This is not an economically viable breakfast for those watching their pennies.
