Ive discovered with this agency you have have them put in a collumn for single occupancy ie you can set a rate for 1 person or 2 people and I have tripled the business I do with business travellers. It depends if you charge differently as I know some people don't but I figured it was worth telling everyone. You do have to email them directly to set it up though.

I don't know if there is a way to link them up with your reservation system if you already have one. we have to update their system directly if we take bookings through other channels. Boo k doesn't seem as popular in the USA as in the UK and Europe I will ask others on here to correct me if I am wrong. we are big enough we can put a single, double and twin on then add as we sell if you see what I mean but that aproach does depend on your size. You can contact them by email and they do respond reasonably quickly so you could ask. they might not be keen as they want you to have their book now button on your web site.

We are at Bking. com and our booking engine links directly with them and will soon link with others (H RS, La ter ooms..). It took a few month to get their approval, but got it.

We also have single occupancy charge but cannot say if it has some influence.

Our booking engine (Cubilis) allows us to update our website and all other channels through a single web page. We have the choice to open or close and price each separately.

Nice! we have almost zero business travel where we are but I will look into it. Do they mesh up with your calendar or is this one where they fax you?
