How Images Can Boost Your Conversion Rate - ConversionXL

Note from JB - you know this is my thang, you know I am on the soapbox about this all day and yet, people don't listen. The same people who don't read don't listen. Right? There are innkeepers who we know ON THIS FORUM who still have old fuzzy outdated images on their websites.

>>COMPRESS THE DANG THINGS PEOPLE! Technology has come soooooo far, you have it at your fingertips. literally.  Don't know how? Google and find a FREE optimizer for images online, TOTALLY FREE! (Here is one first spot in google)

Anyone shop on eBay? Do you click on the listings without photos? Do you buy the product with one or two small fuzzy images that you can barely make out any detail? Why do you think selling rooms and selling an experience is any different?

SELL YOUR ROOMS, SELL YOUR EXPERIENCE!  BLOG MORE PHOTOS, HAVE A PHOTO GALLERY, ADD MORE PHOTOS THEY ARE WORTH A 1000 WORDS!

Are you keeping up wordless wednesday on the blog? That is what it is all about, thanks to Muirford for sharing that with me. Photos speaking volumes, no words required.

Let me encourage everyone here, if you do not have the words to post a lengthy blog article (which is not what you want to do anyway! Words bore people!) post some photos.  May I also encourage you to keep a point and shoot digital camera near your desk.  Doesn't have to be fancy, just snap some shots here and there. K.I.S.S. always applies.

I need to figure out how to get those beer shots on my website! As usual, photo post that's spot on.
