Does anyone have a sign up about limiting or no cell phones at the dining table?

No, I have not needed to address this. I really hope I never have to.

OH grrrrr...that would drive me bonkers. People are just too rude these days....another reason I hate cell phones!!!! Come on people where are your manners!!!! A sign might be in order here :-(

Fortunately, we rarely have a problem with guests bringing a phone to the table. But there was one guy who brought THREE to the table, baseball hat on backwards, leg jiggling under the table....you know the type. I felt really bad for his lady friend who mentioned that she had hoped the B+B stay would help him to unwind and relax. He, on the other hand, was as happy as a clam...taking calls and scheduling work....international insurance company guy...handled all sorts of dire, international disasters. Blech!
He was an exception...so no signs needed at our table.

No sign. Most guests have taken the calls out of the dining room. But, they all have them on the table. Checking this and that instead of talking to each other.

Nope. Try to keep signs to bare minimum. Figure: polite folk don't need a sign, impolite folk would ignore a sign.

YOU ARE RIGHT...forget the signs..they do no good.

most of ours bring them to the table but I insist on silent or calls to be taken in the lounge as its rude. We mainly have business travellers and they sit on their own table (ie 1 on each table) so they can't do what they like as long as they are quiet

This would be hard to police, I think. Many folks like me have stopped wearing a watch and use their mobile phone for the time. I do silence my phone in restaurants, B&B breakfast service, etc.
