Does anyone have any experience with wordpress?

I am setting up a blog for my project and am trying to upload pictures from the realtor, and I can't get them to fill the whole image area on the post.

Any help would be appreciated.  I am sure I will eventually figure it out, but haven't spent much time on wordpress.

Thanks guys!

I have many skills but this is not one of them.

I set it to large or extra large but it doesnt fill the space wp creates for the image.

I suppose my original image is the issue.

I'm given the option of "full size" for smaller images and can use that.

In addition to Joey's suggestions, you may also want to check the "alignment" (Go to Edit image icon ontop of image in blog) to see if you've chosen an option where you're wrapping your text around the picture.

What you want to try to find out are the original image's height and width in pixels --- do a "get info" (on a mac) or "properties" (in windows) for the original image file -- that will probably tell you how wide and tall the image is.

You can change the size of the photo sizes in wordpress, ie medium or large in wordpress and you also need to make sure the photos are the correct resolution.

I was using say 640x307 (whcih is the standard XL size for blogger) and realized in wordpress I can change it to a set size for medium, large or thumbnail (say I want a larger thumbnail) You will see that in the photo upload section on the article/page.
