Is there a scam in here somewhere?

Got a phone call earlier from someone claiming to be from Kimberly Clark. They needed the number of rooms and the address. I called KC and they said they do not send free products to hotels for sampling.

Heads up if you get this call, ask what they need the info for. I'm concerned I'm going to now get hit with a shipment of something I didn't order with a huge bill attached.

I think I got this same call the other day.  They said the name of the company so fast I couldn't quite hear it though.  So far I haven't recieved anything except perhaps a few extra spam calls.

The name showed on the caller id. Searching for the phone number I found a site with 5-6 complaints in the past 6 hours of getting phone calls from that number. It doesn't show a link to KC anywhere. That's why I assumed it was a scam.

First I thought it was someone looking for a place to host a group. But she hung up as soon as she verified the address. That's where the scam part comes in.
