First news item "WE HAVE POWER!" we lost over $1000 in revenue, but we are back up, halleluJAH!

Had to turn our guests away who spent 6 hours in a car to get here, they were all understanding, and agreed they could not stay here in 95-100 temps with no a/c. Last night was a rough one!  We had water, and gas cook top, but put everything into coolers with ice. So had not gotten into those, unless we had to.

Whew!  Glad the power is back for you!  Sorry you lost the biz.

We had a big storm come through here last evening, with some winds hitting 59 mph...I had my eye on the rest of that towering tree that lost a big section on Monday.  Am still waiting for the city to take it down....

Glad everything is working. Being as you're filing a claim for repairs, file for loss of income as well.

So happy you have power again. It would have been so hard on John to have sweltered - he is having a hard enough time without that. I think we did not lose it so we could be here for those without it. Got another family last night. They are going to Red Cross today.

Be cool. I hope you did not lose too much in supplies. Thankfully, the best is that all of you are safe and well and no trees hit your house.
