I got an email today from Bescover. I think it's been mentioned here before. It's a Lanier product. I don't get it, but there it is.

Anyway, tonight I logged onto my blog to do some housekeeping and there is a comment awaiting approval. It is a poorly-written comment filled with grammar and spelling errors that ultimately says I should put this recipe on their website. It also had links and sales pitches thrown in for good measure.

Note to owners of Bescover- this is not the way to win friends and get my money. Your comment has been marked as the spam that it is and I hope anyone else who finds their blog being spammed does the same.

Hello Madeline,

Thank you for reaching out, we appreciate the feedback.  In an effort to promote B&B blogs around the world, our Bescover editors are touching base with innkeeper bloggers like yourself.  We’ve made sure that our team only posts comments and relevant content – not items for sale – because it is our intention to promote blogs like yours with travelers around the world and bring trail blazing innkeepers to the forefront so that we can all learn from one another.  Your blog caught our attention and we wanted to say hello.  Rest assured, we won’t be selling you or anyone else through blog posts, but we’d love the chance to give you a personal walk through of the new Bescover suite of products.

My very best,

Marie Lanier
