This is the second time this week a guest has called while looking at the bb.com website to ask, 'What are the GC's good for? Dinner or something?'

I have to explain that the GC's are good for another stay at a B&B and to get that they have to purchase their stay thru the bb.com site. Last guy said, 'What good is that? I don't need another stay.'

They think WE'RE running the promotion. No one reads the details, they just call the phone number.

I had a guest ask me once about a promo code. Immediately I knew that it wasn't our promo code. I told them that it wasn't our promo code, that it was BB.COM and that they would need to contact them about it. I do take BB.COM reservations, but any promos come out of their side of the deal and most of my high season is blacked out in any case. So they could use the promo code and get the deal, but they wouldn't be staying here.

People don't read.
