Referrals to Facebook Spike 1000% After Twitter Cuts Off LinkedIn

“The spike happened because without Twitter, there is now a significantly lower volume of content in the LinkedIn News Feed, and therefore less competition for clicks and attention,” Brendan Irvine-Broque, PageLever’s director of growth, tells Mashable in an email. “So any non-Twitter content (including links to Facebook Pages and Page Posts) is performing much better than before.”

Now would be the time to check your LinkedIn profile to make sure your Facebook page is listed on your profile. The absence of the twitter feed may lead to having more targeted information on Linked In, I believe without the twitter chatter on LinkedIn, the platform will be a little bit less crowded with information that most of your LinkedIn connections don't need.

What do you think?

Don't have a LinkedIn account so can't help.

Everyday, for good or ill, we intersect with some else's story and become a part of it.
