Happy Thanksgiving to the Canadians. We have to wait about 6 more weeks. I guess we have to have cold wind up the wazoo to find thanks in getting into a warm kitchen to cook a turkey, pork roast (and venison roast for me), and all the trimmings.

Hey! Hands off, Canada. Thanksgiving was about all we had as uniquely USA, and you've taken  that over? Do we try to play hockey here? No, not as far as I can tell.

Next thing we know, you'll be trying to claim our movie stars like Dan Aykroyd, Martin Short, Jim Carrey, Michael J. Fox, William Shatner, Glenn Ford, Mike Myers, Leslie Nielsen, Jason Priestley, Pamela Anderson, and Donald Sutherland.

Not to mention America's Sweetheart... Mary Pickford.

On the other hand, you can keep Celine.

Sugar Bear, we Americans respectfully ask that you call home a certain Canadian teenager who carries Joey Bloggs' initials and is currently terrorizing our always peaceful, well-behaved country.

You can keep him. He's in Florida, call a certain Miami blood specialist to help.

Didn't know it was available yet!! Thanks! I've moved it to the top of my queue!

(I'm on the DVD-only plan since most of the old series I like to watch aren't available for streaming.)
