Porch Sitters Union

I'm enamored with the idea of starting a PSU chapter at our Inn. I've had plenty of ideas on how to make it fun for us and the guests, but keep getting told that it will be too much work. I'd love to hear from those of you who've started one or who've wanted to but just haven't yet...
What does your program entail? Point system for benefits? Membership card? Incentives? Do you keep a registry of members (for your personal information)? Do you market to them directly? Do you have a newsletter? Does it take up alot of your time?
Is it all worth it? Do you feel there's a positive ROI?

I need an explanation of what a PSU is first.

Read all about it, it is "SIT A SPELL THAT CAN WAIT" and nothing more. Do nothing, shoot the breeze, that is all that is required, not a thing more. No rules, nothing needed, even a porch is optional! (It is a state of mind)
