Had a call yesterday from Mary White's PR guy (bnb finder) setting up an interview with ABC News re the Vets program. Since I had 2 rooms for breakfast, I said 11 would work.
DH went off to his doc apt alone (specialist this time) while I did breakfast. The check-out went up to her room and stayed! She finally came down at 10:55. I had Square ready to go - scan card, she is already in the system so did not even have to enter email and just as she started out the door, the phone rang so DH who was back from doc took care of the wave goodbye.
Did interview and she asked for photos. Sent what she asked for - sort of (I guess I am always the one taking the photos so none of DH & me on porch by the sign). Then she wanted photos of Vets - sent a couple of those and it was time for Garden Club. FINALLY get the room stripped and the towels in the washer and bed made. My stayovers are on the porch so i cannot vac - will clean tomorrow while they are out before the new ones come in.
Time to get back to the dreaded ironing board - I am almost halfway through the stack of pillowcases, dresser scarves, and napkins. Getting everything starched helps me get to it for some unknown reason.
