The Real Reason You Can’t Find Time to Blog

Great article!

Lengthy note from your eager blogger JB - I had a 2 night stay this past weekend 100% from my blog. How do I know? I blogged about a local business when they were featured on the Nate Berkus show. Since then, they have a DYI Network show. So when I saw them on the Nate Berkus (press release) I blogged this business, which is a fun one, and added plenty of links and the name to THAT business on the blog article.

These guests showed up wearing black tshirts from that business. I said "Hey Black Dawgs!" and they told me we saw your place while looking them up and decided to make a weekend and stay with you!

Proof in the pudding. This made me very happy, to know specifically the blog and all the effort is paying off. We are NOT a destination, we must market this B&B to get guests, period, point blank.

Click the article link at the bottom as well, one of the reasons we should blog, and to me this is paramount to show you are real people running your inn, caring owners. Again, post images on FB etc, but the blog is there and searchable, happy blogging!

6. showcase your personality

People like to do business with other people. Your blog can show the personality of your brand; people can put a face with a name. By showing your human side, you can earn your customers’ trust.
