AMEN! Just what I was telling someone very recently and she knows who she is

However as I was reading the other day, google speed test analysis doesn't really reflect the speed your page viewers see. What viewers want is that your photos load quickly etc etc.

I agree.
Everything is relative for us, we have more photos than an average site, wait, maybe that is not true anymore. I take that back.
