We talk about bathrooms, some want bathroom photos, others think it is gross, some don't care. What about your parking area? Do you have a parking lot or street parking? Do you mention this anywhere on the website? Do you have space for a boat on a trailer? If so, should you mention it?
I think I only mention it in regard to motorcycles, for the most part. Some people DO want to know about the parking, how far to carry their bags, can they see their cars from the inn, etc.

I also just mention it about motorcycles but I do provide in the Directions in the Confirmation Letter to please park in front of the house. That made me look - on my Directions Page, I do have please park in front of the house.
I have enough room in front of my house for the truck & horse trailer rigs to park in front if they do not want to leave the trailer at the farm (and I have some that do not want to bother with unhook & hook). Although they do not like it and have grumbled to the police to tell them to move (cops so far have told them to go tell her to have them move), so far they have not had the gonads to knock on the door to tell my guests to move from the parking lot across the street - 1/2 city block or larger that belongs to the VFD. (During Fr ont ier Days Fes tival there are 2 car ney game trailers in front of my house.

We were the only B&B with enough off-street parking for all of our guests. And, we had the ability to secure bicycles in a locked garage if needed which no one else had. (People often brought very expensive bikes to use on our river walk.)
You better believe that I promoted all that!!

I don't think any of our recent photos show the parking area. People do ask because it's only in the text. They ask if it's on street or off and if they have to pay and if they need to reserve a space before they arrive.

Glad you brought this up. We have talked about adding 'covered parking' for motorcycles on the site but now I need to go out and see if we ever did that. We also have secure parking for bikes and off street parking again, did we add that to the new site?? Same with the boats!
No pictures ever of our parking per se but have been seen in some views. Now I must check to see where we stand on the site.
Some ask about distance to the house, most do not. Recall one asking if they park right next to the door to their room (I think that is what they wanted). Some ask about lighting of the lot as well as some are moving & want to feel secure - reason they were choosing me over the hotels... This is a subject I try to handle without putting us liable if something were to happen. I tell them our location as residential, out of the city, quiet area but nothing is 100% and I can not make any guarantees.

A low credit score indicates you're a poor credit risk to potential lenders, and can limit the amount of credit they extend to you, result in higher interest rates or mean you're denied credit altogether. - Peter F. Spittler
