I attached the photo on this thread as it is just a not very good photo, but works great in a blog. I was laying back on the grass in the warm sun and the dog raced up to my camera.
An example that we don't need to find perfect photos, just take them and use them. (sized right of course).

I thought I had to blog-size my photos - never again!

Make sure you check to see how the formatting of your blog supports the size of the photos. If I use XL photos they bleed out into the text in the right margin. It looks wrong. Large is as large as I can use.gillumhouse said:

I just did one but used the e-mail size for resizing. Next time I will see what happens if I just set the size in Wor dPress as I do the blog. I am learning though. I have been doing a post on my fb page with a link to my latest blog post. Been getting hits on the site from fb. When they start building the bridge I plan to do updates with photos as it is built. Will have to get a pix of the flag man in action on the rail-trail too.

I know that I know enough to be dangerous. My programming days are ancient history and I do mean ancient. My WP was set up for me when my site was redesigned and I have no idea how to change it in addition to being terrified I would screw up the whole works if I touch it. Yes, I would love to have it wider. BTW - I had a hit on my blog from fb within an hour of posting the link to the latest blog about the nighttime landing.

Thank you. I bookmarked it. I had a score of 64 - LOTS of room for improvement but I am getting there.
You won't have to do anything to your old blogger posts. They will just continue to sit where they are as an archive. You aren't going to bring them to your new site...just link to the old blog and that is it. No biggie.I'm still going to have all the old blog posts to deal with, tho.

We didn't get a very high score, which I was expecting. But, this was a great tool to specify places needing more attention.
Something interesting I found under the section about Authoritative Pages Linked to You - most of the sites that were listed were from comments I've made on articles or blog posts where I included our URL in my comment.
