and to your comment K9 re "the prilosec nation" we live in, there sure are plenty of spicy flavorful restaurants out there, so some-body has to be eating this stuff! :)

I can guarantee you that if someone does not like them they will pick them out and make a nice little pile of them on the plate. Happens every day. We use Tabasco sauce or a local hot sauce in our quiche. Ahem, egg pie.
Peppers I won't do IN anything because I hate them. We do use them for garnish.

You shouldn't worry about them. There is always bread and cereal, just like in prison. If you lived by the don't, you would never get to experience life to it's fullest. And I'm sure you have heard MANY don't in your life, like don't go out with them....
