I found something those of you who are trying to build up your "Sights of Interest" or 101 Things to See and Do blog or website, or posts will love!

Nature Find

There is a website and a facebook page, with mobile version.

Enter the name and state (abbrev) and then click the little magnifying glass on the far right...and up will pop a map of all the natural area preserves, nature centers, etc etc.

I did one for my area and knew all of those, since I am outside around here. But i did another area and FOUND A BUNCH I didn't know about! The FACEBOOK Version has a nicer map, but both pull from the same database.

I have been blogging about many places nearby, and am going to print off my blogs and put them in a binder for people to flip through while having coffee.....just an idea.

That's a GREAT idea, go for it!! You can also add the bar scan so they can scan it from the book to their mobile device.

My list of 100 places has been done for weeks and I had a blast doing it. I even visited new places I hadn't been before. I'm just waiting for my webmaster to get it on my site. Thanks again JB for the great suggestion.
