Here it's tuna season that empties all the trades to the sea. The deer are protected (no hunting allowed) in this neck of the woods so we regularly have Bambi munching on our garden.

We had to write into our City's Employee Handbook that only one person per dept could be on vacation at any time - mainly because of the first day of gun season (Nov when we are usually so very lucky to get a main line water leak or some such emergency). Archery season is longer and does not have the same impact.
