My all time biggie is for a major landmark I mention frequently, others are area attractions I have blogged. What I found interesting is that I have had over 1000 come to the blog through photos. Cool.

I've been amazed at some of the key words that led people to my blog. Stuff I'd never have dreamed of, and I doubt any of these accidental visitors will ever book a night.
But yes, the often-used key words that do apply to your area and specifically your lodging would certainly be good words to use in future blog posts. Great idea.

Yes, the pix will drive traffic. That's why you have to be sure to give each an 'alt' tag.

Been thinking on this a bit, perhaps it would be good to use slight variations on these word combination and see what happens...you already are getting hits on these. More or less targeting the atmosphere you are trying to put across?

I keep getting hits on Col Ruby Bradley - a blog I did a few years ago. She was a nurse captured in the Phi lipines in W W II and was THE HEAD nurse in Ko rea when that broke out. A team was sent in to get her OUT before she could possibly be captured - again. She was from WV.
