A beautiful place, remember "Somewhere in Time"? He will be missed.

I never got closer than the bridge. That was/is a place that was always an "I wish I could..."

Went there when I was a child and just recently found an old photo of my Grands in front of the place. Hope it remains in the family... great tradition.

Been to Mackinaw many many times. Recall being in the lobby of the hotel but that was as far as it went. Usually there on day trips. Last time there with hubby he declared never again. He got tired of walking around all the horse poop on the streets.

They also have a Scotty "Sadie" who was best in show in New York on the Thanksgiving day TV coverage, two years ago I believe.

Beautiful. My husband and I have always wanted to stay there. "Somewhere in Time" has always been our favorite movie!
We actually had a guest stay here that had stayed there and he said one of our rooms looks exactly like it was right from the 'Grand Hotel'
