I didn't even hear about that. Not that I could afford it. Altho some of them are really pushing the limit. We used to do that with MA schools (they asked). 10% off. No one used it.

WV did that a few years ago - I think it was State employees, too long ago to remember, but also not used by anyone. I will stick with my military and cops discount. OH, my daughter passed the test (had a week of training) and is now officially on the Bike Squad. She placed #2 on the test. They had to ride bicycles in gas masks (riot gear) with all the other stuff they carry. Yeah - I popped a few buttons on that.

We signed up, our summers are our slow time so why not.
After they placed it on their site (not sure how long it had been there) I looked and they had not captured all my offer info so I called the innkeeper support line for help. The girl that I spoke with said - what is that? where did you find that? I had to tell her it is on their HOME PAGE. She took my info and said it would be 3-5 days! What the heck!!!

We drive by the town that the big antebellum mansion is in to visit our son & daughter-in-law. Maybe we should stop sometime? But we're not teachers....

How can you determine who or who is not a teacher? I think it's a great idea, but I can see a lot of people trying to take advantage of a discount to which they're not entitled.

My offer indicates that an ACTIVE teacher's ID is required at check in to receive the discount. Some places are offering discounts to active and retired. - not sure how they will prove that.
