Got one of those e-mails yesterday, the wife broke her arm and they have to cancel the 2-night reservation in June. Must assume it's true, and even if not, they're within the cancellation window. But you always wonder. Reminds me of this great old scene from M*A*S*H, listing Klinger's reasons why he should be discharged from the army. http://youtu.be/sdUfLIgnXnE

What's the big deal about a broken arm??? I know...if it is within your time frame then just go with it and move on. Nothing you can or should do.Just reply in the email thank you and hope you can come another time real soon.

Nothing to do with guests, but the heading fits...new housekeeper has not showed up on time all week. Her former job was about 7 miles from here on the same road we are on so it's not like she doesn't know how to get here. Yet everyday she tells us her GPS took her the wrong way, there's construction, there were detours. And how she has to figure out how to get here before the weekend when the traffic is really bad.
Wait, your old job is 7 miles from here, on the same road, and you can't just go north from where you used to work? Sigh.

Welcome to the clan...
Yes inside the cancelation window, but still may have lost you bookings. SIGH
