I know we've talked about ways to get guests to return. Sending a coupon or discount, things like that. I just ordered 2 pairs of pants online. I used a retailmenot shipping coupon, to cut down the shipping cost.
WITH my order confirmation came a coupon for 20% off and cheaper shipping. DO NOT DO THIS TO PEOPLE!
It makes me want to cancel the order and then use the coupon!!!

Totally agree! It makes me feel like I just got ripped off when that happens.
 
Now I remember why I stopped ordering from this company. I got another email today. More sales. As I recall I used to get 2/day. And I thought for sure I clicked 'no thanks' for the emails.

Usually the unsubscribe works. Or email customer service and say that if they don't stop, you will mark them as spam and never see emails from them again.

I just went thru the unsubscribe process. Filled out the form to let them know why I didn't want their emails and guess what? Hit submit and I get 'We're sorry, an error has occurred.' So, I resent the same thing 15 times. Maybe it got thru... 15 times.

Hate that! I would create a filter and send them all to spam from now on.
