Goo gle’s Knowledge Graph

I searched and didn't find a topic on this. This is that big black bar thing that shows up for searches like, "hotels near (major city)". It pulls the data from the goo gle places pages. Well of course we don't show. We have hotel as one of our categories but not the first one. Not sure that this is our target audience but free looks is always nice.

Anyone else with this issue?

B&B's are on the hotel search here and we were hoping to get on there as there are few hotels near us.

That's what I meant. B&B's are in with the hotels, but at the end.

How you get on there, I do not know.

It doesn't do it for a B&B search for my town, but it does it for hotels and restaurants. B&B's are at the end of the carousel.

Thanks! I do think the color choice is so odd for Goo gle. They need to work on the look of it.

Hi Todd,

Specifically, they're calling it Carousel. For local search, It has just recently been implemented so there isn't a lot of articles written about it as of late. Nevertheless, here are few that you might want to check out:

Hope that helps. Smiling
