Hallmark Channel Cedar Cove Series Begins Saturday July 20, 2013!
You can win prizes and learn more about Cedar Cove (which is really Port Orchard Washington) where we lived for 11 years! See more on our blog here.
This is promoted by Iloveinns.com as well.

A few days ago I received a UPS box from Hallmark Channel with cards about Cedar Cove adv. I guess to give guest. That's a lot of shipping $$$ for my 3 suites. So far everyone's on the road with a set travel agenda and seem not interested.

They called me about it and sent me the same package as Mary got. I dropped iLo veins couple yers ago. Wa under the impression you have to be listed with them to participate.

and anyhow...back to the topic, there are characters in this series that own a B&B. If you want to watch it tonight! They won't have a full episode about them until book 4 or something... :)

I know, pretty neat huh? I've been to her 'tea room' many times! love it there.

So were there any iloveinns commercials? I dvr'd it and will skip through all the commercials when I watch.

Not filmed in P.O. of course. Canada I am sure..
It's considered a Canadian TV Movie and filmed in BC. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2181432/locations?ref_=tt_dt_dt The secret is that Canadian productions are allowed to have one BIG foreign star in them.

Yeah when we lived there, we went to Vancouver plenty of times, and saw many on set locations.

Is anyone watching this series other than me? I record it and FF over the commercials but am watching for any I

inns ads but have found none so far. ANYone else? I have seen the sweepstakes ad about winning a trip but it does not mention them being a sponsor or anything. All the hype the directory gave trying to get more listings!!!
And another thing... Who thinks the movie is highlighting B&B's in the right light? BEFORE YOU READ ON, if you are watching and have not seen Saturday's episode, you may want to STOP - story line exposed below.
This last episode was about the inn. The innkeepers had a knock on the door late at night. He opened the door to a man with blood on his forehead, shirt and hands. The truck that dropped him off drove away. The man asked for a room. The husband said no rooms, but the wife piped up and said she would show him to a room. The man had no money saying he left it in his car. Wife said 'free'. The man is found dead the next morning. Police question the innkeepers - they do not know anything about the man - no name, address - zero, zip! So here we go again DINGBAT innkeepers.

I have been watching it and been waiting to see when in the heck a B & B comes into it!!!! Had just about given up. And like you say...what in the world were they thinking!!! DUH... If this is all the mention of B & B...I think it is a waste.

I have read the books, the characters are building. Don't toss it out with the bathwater... :)

I'm watching it too. At least they are naming (and pronouncing correctly) some local towns! Yeah, I had a guy pull up with a car load of people, last night (9 pm). He walks up the sidewalk in all black, black boots and black cowboy hat and he says "Howdy Mam, uh, uh, uh, is this a 'hotel'?" I told him No, its a Bed & Breakfast. He looks at me as tho to say "what the heck it a bed and breakfast?" Then he says "uh, do you rent rooms?", I said yes, but we don't have any rooms available". He looks at me, says "oh, ok, thank you mam" tips his hat and walks away! A tall dark stranger at 9 pm is just too WEIRD for me! Oh, then at 9:30 I get a call asking the same question.... hmmm wondering if it was the same guy!!!
