The VIP is the lucky one - to visit JB is a treat! Wonderful person who KNOWS the area. Enjoy the visit - both the visitor and the visitee!!
Taking her on this, she saw the movie LAWLESS recently so will see the character played by Guy Pearce's house (no the dude was not from Chicago, her was from Endicott)

Here is what we did.
I have not had a chance to get my photos, but wanted to share this, it is pretty cool. That is the last moonshine still from the Bondurant Family. It is on wheels. Not for it's last move, but was built on the trailer/wheels.

It was a GREAT visit! I don't come to the forum often at all these days, but had to stop by to tell everyone that you MUST go visit JB. Such a lovely area and the best innkeepers ever! The assistant innkeeper was the chef on my last day and everything was dee-lish! She has had a great teacher.

The assistant innkeeper was the chef on my last day and everything was dee-lish! She has had a great teacher.

Today we had two breakfast deliveries, table guests and it is raining. But it all worked out great! Thank you for nice comments on the assistant cooking and serving breakfast her first time, it was a huge confidence boost for her! (and I DID actually love the eggs, and I am not an egg person, and I told her so!)
