The owners might be in emotional distress, but the property isn't -- meaning that it's not in foreclosure, or likely to be a short sale.

Not to take away from the auction info but this is why we always tell innspirings to be sure they can do everything that needs doing. Obviously working 2 FT jobs AND running an inn is not working for these folks for whatever reason.
I have friends who work several other jobs besides running their inn and their schedules require a huge calendar so they each know where the other one is at any time!

Drooling over the furnishings, and Colonial Revival is one of my favorite building types. Looks gorgeous. Hope the owners get what they need, and the new owners treat the place with love and care.

Is it really an auction when you have set a floor price? My guess... even at the floor price, it won't go.

Yes...but they are hoping for a bidding war...WON'T HAPPEN. People want deals they don't want to pay asking.

As soon as we sell! I will be making a huge road trip...

Beautiful property...but I can't imagine having the the time to dust it all, let alone hold down a full time job outside of the inn!!!
