I'm dipping my toe in to the blog world, but haven't a clue what I'm doing. My website makes it real easy to add a page and call it a blog, but other than posting a picture or two and putting in a couple links to other sites, I don't know what to do. Is there some site I need to submit it to, or...any help appreciated! Here's my first one: (I'll leave the link up for a couple days)

Good idea. Tell me how that looks now - is that where you meant? Do I need to put (blog) in parenthesis after the "INNside..." part, so people know where they're going?
Also, is there somewhere that I am supposed to submit this so I get people to follow it? Or is that just done through word of mouth? I see that I can send out a notification to my library of email addresses on V er tical Res ponse about it, but I wasn't sure if I should. I'll be doing a newsletter soon, so should I just provide a link to the blog at that time - do it all in one swoop?

You got it. so take it off the navigation bar and instead of MORE...try Things to do.

Congrats! The blog looks good.
Just a little tip. I wouldn't put 2 separate things to do/see on 1 blog post. After awhile it gets tougher to find things to blog about, so your 1 blog post could actually be 2. If you're on a roll, you can write more than 1 blog post, then schedule each of them to post at later dates.

Congrats! For someone who claims they don't know what they're doing, you're already ahead of some of us!Oh, now this is totally cool! Heather Turner (Forfeng Designs) included my blog on her lodging Daily newsletter! So excited! I didn't know she did that. Awesome.
