Any ideas? I want to get rid of some of the text and make it more concise, esp in the room image/description area.
If you know of an example of a nice looking rezkey page, please share! Thanks. (Yes this is my check in time ritual, updating, freshening things...if I am waiting here I need to be doing something productive) :)

Well don't look at mine! I feel the same. Way too much text! Surely people can figure out how to make a reservation without so many instructions, and surely they've already read the room descriptions before landing at the reservation page.
But do have enough so people can be sure which room they're booking. I've booked at sites where I got to the reservation page and had to keep going back to the rooms page to make sure I was booking the one I meant to book.

I always want to put in MORE directions after fielding some calls about how the system didn't work. Next week...that's my mantra. Next week when it's dead quiet I will get to all of that.

I was considering having a pop up of all in one, but the rezpage already does that, so it is just redundant.
I think I want the images bigger in the rezpage. I increased the $ amount...I am fooling around with it. I will get rid of text. other than mandatory.
Oh and I did see that you can have a package or for sale item ONLY for a specific room now, hallelujer pass the butter! It has prob been in there for a year, but I never go in there like this. So now for the breakfast delivery SPECIAL I can have it assigned to the ONE ROOM in the system that it goes for, and no one else will see it when they look online, unless book that room. (It is all over the website/online, just the "processing of it" is what i am speaking about)

Yep, that's how I got lengthy step by step of how to make the reservation, because even in my short time I've had people who called and said they couldn't get it to work online, and I KNOW it works....for everybody but the few.
I've about decided it's a good self-sufficiency test. If they aren't able to work the online reservation system, they're probably not competent to self-check themselves in at my place.

Remarkably brilliant guests (no, really, super smart) did not know we had online reservations. Dope slap. All excited now that they know.
Our repeat guests DO NOT use our website for anything. So I really need to make the directions for brand new guests who do not know anything about us or the area.

I have a feeling that you don't agree, but I think that I have tweaked mine pretty well. I keep working on it but essentially I have it short -ish and sweet.

I think the instructions and descriptions on our ResKey page are concise:
http://v2.reservationkey.com/Harborfields/reserve
(maybe too concise?)

Very small font. That is difficult (and I don't wear glasses).
When I click on a link of a specific rooms I LEAVE the rez page... You want it to open in a new window. That way I can look and compare again, because say I forgot the name...and then go back and reserve it. (Yes I see it is at the bottom of the page as well) but I am looking at them all and picking the one I love... (as a guest)
