The things is... as we all know, we try to do the best that we can do. And then there is always the anti-guest, the ones that you can do no right for. Being helpful... wrong! Chatting... wrong! Helpful signs... wrong! Ugh!

Don't let this one review drag you down. The many, many other reviews comment how they enjoyed chatting with you and how helpful you are. You can't please everybody, but you certainly please almost all of them!
 
You can't please all the people all the time. There's two ladies near here with a lovely B&B and they are very friendly. When people arrive they invite them into their lounge, serve them complimentary tea with home made cakes, etc. Great reviews, mostly 5/5
Someone wrote a review saying they found their overly attentive and inclusive approach a bit of a chore. What can you do, you do your best and it's still not right.
 
A B&B here got dinged for putting too much food on the table. WHAT?!.
I got FB review that said "entirely too much food for anyone" amongst a very glowing review. They just don't see things the way we do - that is not a compliment!

they were clearly hotel people - its just that simple!
 
Here's my problem... I think this is a glass half empty kinda person. (Either that or they haven't had any in a while, but I digress.)
For example, if they complain that it's hard to find, the glass half full kinda person would say that means it will be quieter, with less street traffic.
 
Sorry, as said by others, you can't please everyone. It is hard when comments like that are personal and eat at your very soul because they are about YOU. Just know that people read more than the one review and can read past those statements. {{hugs}} Now get back to your cheerful self!

Exactly! As we all do, we provide info about tours etc. in the area. On a reg. basis we tell people about this bus tour of the big city... and excellent overview. We get lots of positive feedback from those that take it, then there was this 'glass half empty guy' who said "they never shut up, constant information sharing for the 2 hour tour."
Well, guess they got what they PAID for then! Had they slacked, I am sure we would have heard that the bus passed the XXX and did not say a word!
Sometimes you can't win!
