Google spam phone calls

Bad enough these jerks call incessantly but now they are hiding behind real people's names and phone numbers. Just got a call that pushed a real business's name and phone number on the caller ID but was the prerecorded Google spam about updating your listing.

I had a call from a third party using the Goo name yesterday. Problem was she asked me if I wouldn't want to see (name of B & B in next County) sat the top on Goo. I told her I would not care but I am not about to pay for it and I doubt if that B & B would either as SHE only has 2 rooms!

Nothing to do with Google... they are using Google's name for all the wrong reasons.

I suspected that. Doesn't sound like something Google would do, as they would know that would get them some heavy criticism.

Yes, that happened to me today as well. I can tell it's google when the number starts with 855, but today it showed up on the caller ID as a real business. So annoying!!!
