We didn't get this offer, but when it came time for us to renew, I wasn't going to. I got a call from the rep about a month prior to our renewal. I told her we had a sophisticated reservation tracker and I could only track 1.5 reservations for the previous year. Not nearly good enough. She tried to talk all sorts of mumbo jumbo to make them sound more effective than what they are. So, it came down to the day of renewal and they called again. This time she said they did a more indepth analysis and could see what I was talking about. They told me of the recent changes made (including not scraping our sites for content) and offered me a free upgrade which would give us another 'secondary' (this would make 4) city, more pictures and a few other things.
Since I was thinking I probably would renew anyway just for the link love, I said ok. I'll give it a try. After my renewal, they sent me an apron with their logo (yeah, like I want to wear that, a canvas bag with their logo (good for grocery shopping) and a couple other trinkets. That stuff would never make a difference to us! Show me some heads in beds!
We'll see what happens with next year's numbers. I'm not holding my breath.
 
Nope, no offer and no gifties for renewing. Perhaps, tho, I did not renew on time...
 
I was faithful to them for years, then they redid their site and I saw zero bookings come from it. I am not on them now. I may be off bnb finder next --again

JOEY.........I noticed the same thing .Even called and told them when they cut the B&B rotation on the front page ,it also cut us out of bookings.On the days I was on the front page I got more booking & calls. They said they would look into it and a change was made but just not as visually present as before. Most of my bookings & calls come from Google ,BBAV & Rockingham County visitor site. How do I know ,I ask guest how they found me. Only takes a second to ask.

Don't renew. They don't care about customers any longer, just their income.

I just got a "free gift" for buying drapes (YIKES they are expensive!!!. Have to buy them by the panel now!). The gift was a picture frame. I will regift it for Christmas. Just what I need, more junk for my house.

Yup, an apron & tote bag with their name and logo all over it. I gave the tote to a guest who had bought some items from us to take home and the apron went home with our part time assistant. With their logo, those items are useless to me.
