I now have beautiful ceilings...

All the ceilings in my guestrooms are beautiful!!! My daughter and her boyfriend just left. 4 coats of Ki lz and a coat of ceiling white later the new stain from during the roofing job is done and 2 sessions with "mud" - second coat now drying and touch-up painting on the trim and the room that was the recipient of the LEAK for too many years looks great again.
She plans to drive in come Spring with her power washer to clean the siding and repaint my porch.
Before they left - we went to the New River Bridge yesterday and they did the catwalk tour under the New River Bridge (876 ft above the gorge and 20 feet below the bridge roadway.
Today she took me shopping replaced ALL my turtleneck shirts upon getting me to swear to throw away every one in my dresser - and then she found a jacket she decided I should also have. The girl does major wardrobe shopping - now I have to find room for everything! Do I have great kids or what!!!

TOTALLY!!!
I am blessed with (mostly) great kids and grandkids (hey, every family has one), friends, and innmates who ARE friends. I truly am the most blessed person I know.

Yes to both statements. Her boyfriend did most of the work (she IS a smart girl) and she was sooo proud of the job he did! It equaled what she would have done. They have plans for what they will do this Spring when they drive in and bring the power washer.
