Potter Gave a Surprise

This will go to my blog tomorrow morning. Posting this now while I am thinking about it. The mugs turned out different this time. He dipped in a different glaze than he thought he was doing - so they are not burgundy! When I saw then, I did not care. The new color will go better with my dishes in truth. BUT he also had a surprise for me.....

I like 'em a lot, and the matching napkin rings are great. Even big companies occasionally update their logos and signage, so a change in cup color is just a nice refresh to a tradition.
