Just got back from Europe yesterday evening. So, I go this morning to have breakfast. I have cereal, but no milk. Coffee but not cream. Toaster but no bread. I guess I'm going to the warehouse store today.
Spent 2 weeks on vacation. Venice is known for their salted croissant... hotel didn't have any.
One airline (LH) served a chocolate cookie for breakfast!
On the ship, they had a lot available for breakfast... and I found very little to actually eat. I wonder sometimes if that has to do with me being picky or really lack of quality. I tried the pancakes one day... not fluffy and it was syrup, not real. I have to say that I think I much prefer my own omelettes... though theirs had a choice of fillings and I could do that, but it really was just eggs with fillings flipped over and folded. And most of the yogurt was too sweet for me. I think I'm too picky for breakfast.... more maybe it's just the job. Told one of the sous-chefs what he could do to fix the pancake batter they are using. Likely in one ear and out the other
