Nope, the home page sets the mood and hopefully entices the user into the site...to the Rooms page (I hope). Then once they have seen the rooms they can get to the rates page, where they can compare the amenities and rates for each room.  I figure that getting them hooked on the area and the accommodation will make it more likely that they will be willing to pay our rates.

Had to look to be sure, but no. I want them to SEE the rooms before they decide my rates are too high - which they must not be since I DO get guests.

WHY WOULD YOU?  Tacky in my mind. That is what a rates page or your BOOK NOW page is for.
