As always I like to share great deals with my innmates...FYI another discount and free shipping.
I ordered LAWN SIGNS and the little metal holders in full color (front and back). For those who do special elopement packages, it is a great little sign to advertise in your yard or elsewhere. You can also get business cards and car magnets for this same venture...

Great deal! May find something I could use especially for the price.
No lawn signs for me, we have to pay big money to place these out on the road where traffic could see and they have a limited time frame. Left out, and there is a huge fine. This came about due to the large influx of their use in our area, corners were polluted with these things. FYI - I could place them in my yard but no sense with no traffic.

oh, jb, that is good! thank you for sharing
do you know how far away the smaller sign can be seen from? i would need them to be seen by passing cars (not much foot traffic in the area i would use them) so am thinking probably the bigger signs at 27x18 would be best?
and color ... is there a rule of thumb for color that pops or most easily seen? i'm googling like mad for some guidelines.
thanks again

I have both the small signs and large signs from Vista... I would say the larger is needed to see it from the road.

The most visible color is school bus yellow or fire truck yellow, which is more of a florescent yellow.
It can be seen in all kinds of weather and will stand out against a variety of background other than a dead grass hillside!

As always k.i.s.s. applies, so for me it would be a simple phrase and website/ph# with logo or icon. Just to make it stand out. I am using the color of love, of course, I don't want to be too tacky. Of course, it is already tacky isn't it? haha

The small signs from Vista print can be seen but not easily driving by. You probably want the larger one. I was always taught BLACK on YELLOW was the tops for visibility. But if you keep it simple and use the largest font you can. See one of the signs I made for a friend's shop.

never do black or dark blue with white writing - looks fab in the day but you can't see it at all at night - have had a few B&B's have signs made up for their place like that and theve changed them in 3 months!
