He's 25 and quiet, coming to New Orleans in April for the WWE (wrestling) as he's into that (watching not doing) and then is going to travel in the USA for about 3 months which we feel will do him a world of good as he has always lived at home with his mum. However don't want to cut him off in a foreign country so would rather he stay with inmates who will keep a bit of an eye on him and so I know he's not getting ripped off etc. He's fine with accom in new Orleans as its part of the package but after that he isn't sure where he is going - if anyone wants him please email me and Ill add you to the list of places to go!
Bye for now Cambs

I love how you put that :)
If he wants to come all the way up to Maine, he's welcome here.

Send him to me, Cambs. We can show him a lot from here AND we do have wrestling here - the programs take place at an old grade school. Cannot guarantee a show while he is here but Reuben can tell me when/where. We are just a couple hours from Pittsburgh and about 5 to DC. It will be my pleasure.

Its not proper wrestling - its all that play acting rubbish and silly names, but I suppose it keeps a lot of people in jobs. His degree is in events management and he is hoping to get some relevant experience for his CV while he is away so helping with any kind of event would also be helpful. Think he needs to formulate a bit more of a plan or he will just end up banging around and achieving nothing.

There's not a lot to keep a 25 year old's time occupied here, but if he can stand a day or two in small town America, he's welcome here! I'll be closed and gone on vacation the first three weeks of April, but any time after that would work.
We do have, nearby, the state's highest, longest, fastest zip line, and I could hook him up with some folks near his age who like to hike, if he might like a walk in the wilderness.

The first "reality" television shows.

Tell him to definitely visit Boston. It's such a great city for young people. We're about 1 hour from there, in the country, but he's more than welcome to visit us too!

he will be in the USA for 3 months - don't think he is allowed to work but he can volunteer at anything which he is happy to do

Note to all: He does not drive..
We are going to have a seasonal train that stops about a two minute walk from the B&B. Midcoast Maine would work perfectly at the end of his three month stay assuming the train has started by then. Let me know if he's interested and I'll investigate more

It's interesting that it says visitors on business or pleasure can stay here up to 6 months, but at the port-of-entry, a U.S. immigration officer of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) decides whether to allow you to enter and how long you can stay for any particular visit, as part of the Admission process. Only the U.S. immigration officer has the authority to permit you to enter the United States.
Seems like it's all up to the guy at the window when you present your passport for entry. I never dreamed it would be so arbitrary, so make sure he has all his ducks in a row.
Also, be aware that the "expiration date" on the entry visa is not the date you have to leave. That's just the date after which the visa can no longer be used to enter the USA.
Good luck!

We are in North central Mass, right on the NH border.
