What we've done so far...
  • Painted 2 rooms
  • Stripped wallpaper in 2 rooms (one was a dream, came off in full sheets!)
  • Installed 2 new sinks, painted the bathrooms
  • Sewed new tablecloths for V-Day.
  • Bought a new king bed (delivery tomorrow)
  • Reno'd a room we did last year over again. (Like I didn't have enough with the rooms I planned!)
  • Painted the trim in the common areas (not done yet)
  • Hung new curtains
Still working on the Euro shams & lamp shades and 2 more sets of tablecloths.
Have not gone away as I planned. The weather has been crap for driving anywhere I want to go!

Good going! I have been in the winter doldrums and the water situation cancelled the Conference I was going o go to that MIGHT have gotten my gumption in action. Guests 3 days next week so that will help - the cofferes and the energy.

Wow! Good for you

! I have list a mile long but haven't started it yet. Maybe on Monday.

Glad to see someone has so much energy. Too bad you can't bottle and sell it. I'd buy some for sure.

Got my new bed for room 2 which ive been wanting for about 2 years but is a special size so wasn't easy - really brings that room together - got more people in for the Christmas and Gift fair than I was hoping for (decorations and gifts for 2014's xmas) and DH has wiped every skirting board in the place (the bit of wood at the bottom of each wall I think you call it trim?) - want to get the halls and skirting board done this year but its going to cost a fortune!

Either I've traveled or have been sick. . . but never sick of traveling!

Still down with bronchitis here, ugh. But you!!! WOW..go girl!
It sounds like you will be in great shape by the end of the month at the rate you are going. Your enthusiasm has spurred me on to get going on our bedroom stripping project..take it off....take it all off!

You have been busy. Can't wait to see new pics on your site.:) Hubby has repainted our living room and hallway and put new carpeting on the stairs. Me...I have cleaned up everything, put away the holiday decorations and now have to get all the photos back where they belong. No nails in these walls again...going with the 3M command strips. They work great!

Yesterday I put a big 5 shelf rack in the attic to sort out the 'linens' that get thrown up there when I don't know if I want them or not.
I can now clear out my closet and put all of the extra stuff up there. Yippee!
I used the boxes the sinks came in to pack up everything we won't use to take it to either the halfway house or Goodwill.
Will remove extra twin mattress set as well. That will leave me one twin set as backup. The halfway house will take these.
Right now my dining room has 3 mattress sets and frames waiting to be picked up!
I am taking the old throw pillows apart (fringed damask) and using the forms to make new throws.

Feel better! I have to get this done now as Feb is always a downer and I don't want to do anything then.

That's good, glad you could do it. Im sure you will post pictures; one thing I miss not owning my own Inn-my own decorating and suggestions on things, owner not to keen on changes...even if its for the convenience of guests.
