Sometimes, no matter what you do to improve the property, you're going to tick someone off. Just read a comment about this gorgeous new bathroom an inn put in with heated floors and tile and a steam shower. The comment? 'How am I supposed give the kids a bath in there?'
Seriously? Your kid can only get clean by taking a bath? Teach them how to use the shower! Wash them in the sink! Let them stay dirty!
I know the inn is converting for an older and a younger crowd. Older who don't want to climb in and out of a tub and younger who want the steam showers/waterfalls and more room to shower together!

This is one of those quotes that I can picture on the Princess Bride or something...but it goes on and on and is funnier as it goes...
The rest of the quote would go something like this from an innkeeper's perspective:
Of course, when some of the people are pleased, then the others are faux pleased, but really aren't pleased and will write a negative review sharing that they really were not pleased...and those people do that some of the time, and they are some of the people, but not all of the people...so we can focus on some of the people, but not those people, the other people, who we can please. But less we forget those who are please some of the time are the happiest people we have, and those people pleased all of the time do not exist. We wish all of the people all of the time to enjoy their stay and be happy, but that is impossible, so some of the people some of the time is what we can achieve, er some of us, sometimes. The rest are on their own.

Things Abraham Lincoln wishes he had said:
"Can we skip the theater tonight, dear?"
"Please lock the state box door!"
and finally
"Anyone ever think of installing a rear-view mirror around here?"
