We just booked our first all-inclusive wedding/elopement package! They will be married on Valentine's day, just the two of them, so it's a true elopement. 3 nights. WoooHooo! Almost $1,300 with an add-on.
Thanks to everyone I swiped borrowed ideas from!
That was just what I needed today as I've been stressing all about having no guests.

Congrats!
Yesterday I gave a tour to a bride, her fiancé, and her father -- tromping through the snow, checking out all the cottages in winter mode (everywhere a half-done project waiting for spring and warmer temperatures....). They loved it. Haven't actually signed a contract yet, but if they come through, and I think they will, this will be our fourth wedding weekend for the coming season! It sure is exciting, and good revenue, too. But it remains to be seen just how much work and hassle it all ends up being....

So good!
I know Joey Bloggs will be really excited about this when she gets back from her anniversary trip. Hope she's not in this latest cruise ship illness fiasco!

If she is, I can see the blogs now!

That's great! Bigger weddings can really be a time and energy suck. Hopefully you won't have the drunk wedding guests my friend had for many years. She finally gave up doing weddings because of it. I'm very interested to your reports afterwards!
Ours will have no more guests than 6 total for elopement, 8 for whole house package.

Me too! She's had some bad luck with cruises!

Oh I wondered where she was. Had forgotten all about it. Hopefully she's having a great time away from our cold weather.

WOW, OH WOW! Just got another elopement! This time they chose to stay 2 nights with us and just added the officiant services without all the bells and whistles.
This one found us from the blog post I did on our b&b blog which has a lot more google love than the new one with the new website.
I think these people are really liking that they can pick and choose whatever works for them.
I'm doing the happy dance!!

That was my first thought when I heard it. May they be on the ship that is rorally functional and having NO problems of any kind. May their problem be an overabundance of sun and fun.

I am afraid that she probably is - their ship was leaving from that port on that day, and going to those stops on the 10-day trip. I know they got to NJ before the ship left after driving up in that snow storm last Tuesday.

OH NOOOOOO! Hopefully they're not one of the 300 who have gotten sick! I don't think they should ever plan on another cruise. They have the worst luck!
