IIf anyone has been listening to the news in the last month, they kow about the water crisis in our State Capital and the 8 surrounding counties. I decided last night to target a Special to those 9 counties specifically. I posted it on FB. I said now that everything is getting relatively back to "normal" the residents of ONLY these 9 counties will get 2-nights for the price of one from Feb 20 (I will be out of town until late the 18th) until March 30. I look tonight to see how many had seen the post and was flabbergasted! It has been seen by 255 - more than any other thing I have posted. I know it is nothing compared to what some of you do with each post, but for me it is a record. Now to see if it will bring any reservations.

Good luck! For me, even to get just 2 or 3 would be pretty satisfying!

That's great! Hopefully someone will also book it!
FB is so fickle! We had a wedding tonight and I posted a couple photos on our wedding FB page (not many fans yet), and then I shared it on our business page. Nothing....nada....was fed to 25 people! So instead of just sharing, I posted pictures on the biz page and voila...people started seeing them and liking them. It made it quite clear that sharing was not the way to get seen!

I shared it this morning when it hit my FB page. How else is it seen if not through sharing?

If you type something directly on your page, it's call a post. If you have a page for your b&b and a page for the city, they you click the 'share' clink below the post you've already done, slick 'share' and it will give you a box which will ask you where you want it to go. That's a share.
So, if your city or friend has a cool post on their page you want your fans to see on G. House FB page, go to the post you like on their page, then click 'share' on the bottom of the picture and choose to share it either on your personal page or on a page you manage, then whammo....it appears on your page.

That is what I have been doing. I thought there was something else. I do a share on my biz page, then go to my personal page and do a share again from there and pray my friends and family will also do a share. It is up to 259 now. Woohoo! Doesn't take much to make me happy.
