Had few yesterday and tons of rain. Now with the frozen ground just waiting wet basement.
 
You don't get it often I take it.
Thunder is our middle name. That sounded really weird.
We were talking to this couple who said something about how weird it is for people to go inside when it rains, you just get wet! Especially at the beach!
I said, you have never been to where we live, if it rains, you go inside! Rain = lightning. Period. Full stop. End of story.
 
we have 2 pumps that are level activated for the basement - when we first did the basement they weren't activating quick enough - now they seem ok touch wood!

Not in Feb. We can set our clocks by it in the summer. 'Thunder? Must be dinnertime.'
 
Yup, same storm blew through here last night...thunder and lightening. Today it's 55 degrees, sunny and all the snow has melted. Just got back from a fabulous walk on the beach. I am REALLY enjoying not having guests this winter!

I went out briefly. It is lovely! Spent 4 weeks avoiding dh's cold. It finally caught me. Misery.
