Score One for the Other Half

We had a couple days with no guests last week so I took the opportunity to get away for a 'girls getaway'. Last minute, we got a 2 night booking (of course). DH said he could do it by himself. He's really the back of the house guy. Most guests never meet him. He doesn't especially like the guest interaction thing and he's able to do a couple different recipes without my help. Sort of skeleton crew kind of thing.
So, I left and he did the meet and greet, breakfast for 2 mornings and check-out.
Last night they posted a rave review on TA! He certainly didn't ask them for a review and we haven't had once since Oct.
DH is on cloud 9! Good for him! Now I think I'll take off more often

We've noticed a definite trend toward the 'poor guy' getting raves whenever the female half of the couple is away. Happens all over town...

Great for YOU! Happy for him, but even happier for you He'll definitely feel more comfortable next time.

Next time..."add as needed" the recipe says.

MY DH is off the ceiling as we just got a good trip adviser and the title is excellent breakfast which is his area!

I usually have to beg and plead for him to do a check-in so I can go out and do something that day. Well, I guess he's still feeling good about the review, because I said "well, we can do xyz, but you'll have to check the guests in on Thursday. "No problem" he says!
