I think I have mentioned this before... I am always looking for our next place. Looking at Realtor photos there is no way I would even consider half these places!
Seriously... The listing says there are 21 photos. 10 of them are of the very basic kitchen. 4 of them are of the stove. Are you kidding me? You wasted 10 photos on the open plan kitchen?
Then 4 pictures of the huge maroon sectional that ate the family room.
I am going to be a real estate photographer.

You would be surprised how many of them think that showing the floor is important, so they get on chairs and shoot down, rather than shot low and up and make the room look spectacular.

and as well are floor plan's optional? cos to me they aren't!

No floor plans here. You kind of have to figure it out on your own unless it is a 'period' house.
One I looked at said it was a single family house. Outside photos showed 2 mailboxes and 2 satellite dishes. In side there were 2 kitchens altho one of them was a hallway with a fridge and a stove.

We always love to look at real estate online. I always marvel at how many fixate on the furniture...not buying that. We do google earth to "drive by" amazing how many eyesores get "missed".

I used Google to do drive bys, too! Almost none of the properties listed were at the address on Google! That town must be seriously mismapped!
One address was a hotel according to Google. Another address there was no curb cut or driveway on either side of the road and no houses anywhere!

I hear ya. I think most of us could do better photography! I recently looked at a few in the next neighborhood as 1 just sat on the market while the others moved. I wondered if it was the price.
The photos were horrible, the place dated, everything was dirty or looked unkept. (beds unmade, the bathroom sinks cluttered) and then in almost every one - cat toys, scratching posts etc. The people had moved out.

They finally changed companies and guess cleaned up the place, finally sold.
