Oh yeah! Painting music. I'm boogie-ing around with the paintbrush!

I am on the phone with my son & DH as son & I try to keep from screaming listening to the retelling of the stories of his youth. AGAIN. Today it is his life on the farm (my growing up on a farm does not exist of course) because this son is going to have a large garden in Finland. Yawn.
Buzzard says it is 55 days to go. WAHHHHH!!!!!!

I took a cpr class and the music/beat to do chest compressions is 'stayin alive'

Yep, the beat of that song is at the ideal compression rate. Amazing coincidence.

Nothing like a little disco to get you moving!! The Beatles music does it for me too. Not the later stuff..but the first ones.

Yes that is correct but did you know..ONLY 8 % of people survive CPR and of those only 3% are ever "normal" again. Dr on NPR shared this the other day. Broken ribs etc...
He said most Docs will say never do CPR on them!
Now who do you believe???

Just stopping by to tell you that my brain is STILL playing Stayin' Alive for me 3 hours after I first saw this post. Lucky for me, I like this music.

I can't find that program on NPR and would be interested to hear it. If you can find the link on NPR please share it. I am familiar with the baby revived on the side of the road story in February.

and many others which make me want to try. One of my cousins was revived this way in his early twenties and is still okay all these years later. But it must depend on what has happened and how long the person has not been breathing.
I just signed up for a refresher CPR course, the American Heart Association is still recommending it. But I will ask during the Q&A for an explanation.

Yes it was on in the afternoon the very next day after that story. They were talking about a research study from Drs about What they would and wouldn't allow if they were in an emergency situation. Talked about putting someone on life support and what it does to the person..omg. I told my husband immediately..don't ever do that to me. We both have living wills. If I can remember where it was I will let you know.
