Trip to Scotland June 2015

Daughter and I are planning on spending a few days in Scotland, flying from Dublin to Edinburgh. It would be the first two weeks in June 2015.
We would love to see any innmates while there if possible. We may be in Lanark as the home base for day tripping.
This is something to look forward to (and save toward) so we will begin making our plans now! Cheers.

What a fabulous trip.

That is exciting! I have some recommendations for you if you want them from our long ago trip. We may pass you in the air - we are planning a return trip to Ireland for our 25th wedding anniversary next year - probably the last two weeks in May, but maybe into June. On our only other trip to Ireland we went in May around our anniversary and had fabulous weather, so it can happen.
Maybe we can share our research!

I will give you the pubs my brother in law will be playing, you will love that! Weather in Ireland is, well, em, not the greatest until mid summer, if they have a summer. But when you are on vacation it is just fine!
PS The North are really into country music, and our Americana Roots music. Our rel's went to see Dierks Bently and Zac Brown Band Saturday. A fully "bearded" experience. I told them, hm Irish Rednecks... I can see that.

Is this an Innkeeper air trip? I want to go!

I have friends going to Scotland for 2 weeks this July. They have booked some cool places. Also, going to a concert and some festivals. Her mother was Scottish and they will be staying with a cousin for a good chunk of the trip. Will get the 411 on their trip and share with you.
You will have a BLAST!!! How exciting!

There's always us. We're on Loch Ness, but that's not a day trip from Lanark, we're a good 3 hour drive from there.
